19 _____ We did a little AA firing this morning. (USS) Olkland & one DD joined us at 1200 & we left the Pearl Harbor area then USS Olkland turned back ... [because] of engine trouble. Time went ... back another half hour at 1700. No[w] ... its 3 1/2 hours different then west [coa]st. Sure left a swell girl be[hind] ... 19 days out of state[s] ... time 3 1/2 hours diff.
